EDC Collection

The European Documentation Centre has a collection of European Communities’ official publications. It consists of about 4,300 books and over 500 journals, including:

• Legislation: the Treaties, the Official Journal of the European Communities from 1958, the Directory of Community Laws from 1979
• Preparatory documents: COM documents issued by the European Commission from 1983, Debates and Reports of the European Parliament from 1983, Opinions and Reports of the Economic and Social Committee (ESC) from 1973
• Case-law: the collection of caselaw of the Court of Justice and the Court of First Instance from 1954
• Explanatory and background material: the Annual general report on activities, the Monthly Bulletin of the European Union and the Bulletin Supplement from 1968, specialised journals, books

The EDC collection is available in the Library Catalogue and is identified by call number CE and location CDE
