EU Law Live
The Library has renewed its 2025 subscription to the EU Law Live platform, which provides support for legal research in the field of EU law and policy with a wide range of information and updates. It is a powerful tool for students and researchers with an archive of nearly 12,000 pieces of content and an increasing number of podcasts.
Here is how to access:
- Select EU Law Live in the A-Z Databases list
- Complete the login using your University credentials (the platform is also accessible on campus to the Alumni community, and off campus to anyone for whom this form of access to Library resources is provided)
- Remember that acceptance of all cookies is required for a complete browsing experience on the website (Accept all)
- Now you can proceed by exploring the available contents
Here are some tips to help you navigate the platform; you can click on one of the titles visible on the Homepage, or select one of the platform’s sections from the menu in the upper left-hand corner:
- News with a large space dedicated to the latest news
- In-depth that consists of analysis, editorial commentary and insights
- Podcast offering a series of podcasts dedicated to the core issues of EU Law Live
- Areas of practice where entries corresponding to the platform's core subject areas are visible (e.g., Institutional law, Human rights, Internal market...)
- Morning agenda from which to consult the agenda of planned events related to the area Institutional law but also Competition & State Aid, Justice& Litigation, Human rights etc.
- Weekend edition where to access issues of the weekly publication curated by EU Law Live
- Events with a selection of the main scheduled events divided according to the relevant thematic areas (e.g. Banking & finance, Competition & State aid, Consumer, health & environment...)
- EU law live, where you can find out more about EU Law Live team, network, and editorial board, the breakdown and proposed content available, including a selection of FAQs available to readers
