Digital skills for digital humanities in archives: the Saminiati project. 12 April, 2.30 pm
As part of the national network of European Documentation Centers (EDCs) project dedicated to the European Year of Skills, EDC Bocconi and the Historical Archives present the application of artificial intelligence to the seventeenth-century mercantile correspondence of the Saminiati, a fund rich in valuable documents for research in the field of economic and social history: thanks to a tool created at the European level under Horizon 2020, it will be easier and faster to access even remotely the manuscript texts and thus open the doors of archives for access to sources and history. Participation in the seminar is free, registration is required.
