Reduce inequality within and among countries

Income inequality is on the rise and can be addressed with global solutions: growing inequality requires robust policies to empower those who earn the least and promote the economic inclusion of all regardless of gender, race, or ethnicity.

This goal aims to reduce inequality through improved regulation and monitoring of financial markets and institutions, encouragement of development assistance, and foreign direct investment in regions where the need is greatest. Closing the growing gaps also requires action to facilitate safe migration and mobility of people.
