New ASBOC portal for the Bocconi Historical Archives

The Library has put online the new ASBOC portal dedicated to the Bocconi Historical Archives.
On ASBOC we have made searchable the funds acquired by our University over time, which attest to numerous aspects of economic and social life in Italy beginning in the mid-fifteenth century: the oldest one is the the oldest one is the Saminiati-Pazzi archive, which contains letters, registers, exchange rate currents and economic documents relative to the commercial activity carried out from Florence towards other Italian and European cities since the middle of the 15th century; the registers of Artimino Archive attest a century of accounting management of the Medici villa and surrounding lands starting from 1782; a business archive is constituted by the Brustio fund that collects the papers of the first decades of La Rinascente starting from the beginning of the 20th century, while the archives of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (the National Chamber for Italian Fashion) testifies the creation of the fashion system in Italy from its foundation in Rome in 1958 until the transfer of its headquarters to Milan at the end of the 1980s; also the documents from Giuseppe Luraghi are economic papers, as they refer to the different business he led in the role of manager, in particular, to Alfa Romeo, of which he was President in the 1960s.
Many documents have been digitalisez and about 10,000 reproductions are available online on ASBOC, including the photographic collections.
