    7. What is plagiarism?
Plagiarism is claiming the ideas or works of others as your own. Plagiarism occurs when:

₋ opinions or ideas are put forward without naming the real author
₋ an extract of a work is copied without acknowledgement
₋ an extract of a work is copied and some details are changed to avoid having to acknowledge the source
₋ incorrect information is provided on a cited text
- excessive amounts of a text are copied

The Library makes available to its users a range of tools for the correct citing of works used, documents found on the Internet, legal documents, etc.
